Terms of Business
1. Services & Engagement
Austin Tech Solutions Ltd ("the Company") provides specialised IT consultancy and software development services. Engagement officially begins upon the Client's written acceptance of a project brief or the payment of a deposit.
2. Payment Terms & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure project scheduling. Final balance payments are due within 14 days of project completion or site "go-live". The Company reserves the right to suspend services or revoke access to deliverables if payments are overdue.
3. Intellectual Property & Code Custody
Until final payment is received, all source code and technical assets remain the sole property of the Company. Upon final payment, the Client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the work. The Company maintains primary custody of the source code within its private repositories to facilitate hosting and maintenance; formal handover of code or repository access is available upon written request following final settlement.
4. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not liable for any indirect loss, loss of business, or downtime caused by third-party hosting providers or external technical dependencies.
